The Sociology Graduate Student Advisory Council (SGSAC) is the vehicle for student involvement in the focus and direction of the department. Two elected students coordinate occasional open student discussions and serve as representatives in general faculty meetings. The council has also compiled a comprehensive list of funding opportunities for continuing students.
